Streets of Cali
Baby I ain't ever been
No No No
I ain't ever been

Streets of Cali baby I ain't ever been now
Why you talking to me if I ain't your friend now?
Something else goin' on in my head now
Why you talking to me? You my deadly sin now

Two lives to live
If I'm gonna make that choice
And I don't wanna try to live
If I'm gonna make that choice

Streets of Cali baby I ain't ever been now
Why you talking to me if I ain't your friend now?
Something else goin' on in my head now
Why you talking to me? You my deadly sin now

I don't wanna reach out, I don't wanna recount
All the things that I did when we said we were friends
I ain't makin' amends, I won't overextend
When we fallin' fallin' fallin' again

Streets of Cali baby I ain't ever been now
Why you talking to me if I ain't your friend now?
Something else goin' on in my head now
Why you talking to me? You my deadly sin now

Streets of Cali be callin' my name
Streets of Cali got me goin' insane
Streets of Cali got me hatin' my own skin
Streets of Cali got me hatin' my own skin

I like it, I want it, I got it
My thoughts break faster than the waves in Jakarta
Said you got my back, told me it's a safe place
Now I'm runnin' these streets, sun blindin' my face no way to escape

I'm sick of you callin' my name
Believin' you, lettin' you get your way
I'm tired and done of playin' your game
I'm tired and done of livin' in shame

All I know, all I know is shame
Can you make it go away?
I'm confessin' to my family and I'm down on bended knees
Prayin' God take me off of these streets

Streets of Cali baby I ain't ever been now
Why you talking to me if I ain't your friend now?
Something else goin' on in my head now
Why you talking to me? You my deadly sin now

Streets of Cali baby I ain't ever been now
Why you talking to me if I ain't your friend now?
Something else goin' on in my head now
Why you talking to me? You my deadly sin now
