Are blue skies 
And green plant life 
Just the world's lies

Laughably

I sing while lives and environments Are shattered
For a few to wield
Ever-growing power

See the works of humankind
There within is the sublime

In the cold, detached fixed idea
To own everything

The wealthy pack their bags for Mars
And seek to cheat death

Meaningful, worthy of life

Cast aside those which would be
So defined by hubris and greed

There within is the divine
