WAYE (1220 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Regional Mexican format. Licensed to Birmingham, Alabama, United States, the station serves the Birmingham market. The station is currently owned by Dulce and Maria Rivera, through licensee Rivera Communications, LLC, and features programing from Westwood One.The station signed on in 1949 using the callsign WEDR. The original president of the company that owned the station was J.L. Doss, who previously had owned WJLD, another Birmingham station. For much of the station's early history, it broadcast only during daytime hours. That's why I want to rap, these the things I told Tori
But I wasn't writing then, it would be a while, In the meantime I was tryna freestyle
Tori told me stop, I was never meant to rap shit, I should listen to real rappers like Malpractice

Damn, now talk about a hurt ego, wasn't enrolled and already I had a zero
Well one year later I met Practice at J street, can you help me use the studio so I can slay beats
He was all for it even though I had a weak flow, Fast forward one year I'm at my first live show
It ain't happen overnight, had to focus on my crat, made a couple whack songs, showed some people and they laughed
But I ain't give up, a determined mother trucker, Could never get enough music is my first lover
And look at me now, I'm your sister's favorite artist and your moms my biggest fan and I'm only getting started
So what's next, well, I flew across the country to make a lot of money, on the side I made an EP
Title it November this the project that defines me, which reminds me
Take a trip through my mind, through my life, how i live
What I like hear my thoughts through my eyes, this is my dissertation
A sonic memoir of my lyrical elevation, everything I knew that I would be if I was patient
Its funny seeing everything unfold before your eyes, even though within my dreams I saw it a hundred times
And it defied all reason, what would have been a reason to quit, I can't see one
Keep on hustling, I keep on grinding, I keep on writing and I keep freestyling

But that is not my goal, I don't do it for reaction, I do this cause I love it, this my art and my passion
