Shayde is a fictional character who appeared in the Doctor Who Magazine comic strip based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. Shayde is an artificial being, a construct of the Gallifreyan Matrix — the massive computer network that serves as the repository of all Time Lord knowledge. He was created by the minds of the dead Time Lords that reside within the Matrix, and was a servant of Rassilon. He first appeared in the story The Tides of Time, published in DWM #61-#67, written by Steve Parkhouse and drawn by Dave Gibbons. But over time I ain't like the negative connotation wit the thought
Not that I wouldn't it but I didn't
Rather than feel like a copy
I revised my original image
Throughout life people ruled me as the cool guy
Always known through school but ain't have a popular mind
Charming to the girls but had anxiety
The one friend you came to for wisdom it was natural for me
My gifts in art gave me presence
My spirit in heart gave me resonance
Those friends around taught me lessons
My experience reflect them impressions and

After going through a phase and finding a name to fit me
I could have used Q but wanted something more unique
Thought about my character and how people viewed me
They'd always say I'm laid back calm cool usually
Them two words stuck around I started seeing a pattern
This where my concept of manifestation began to happen
Given my creative skills and rays of expression
Son gon' build a world and leave distinctive direction
Shade was the word I chose to play off
But 5 letters wasn't enough for me to spell to the beat
Around that time I had questions bout life and death
So Y was the letter I chose to use in between
But since growth was my rest point all them days I would ponder
Holding the stem of my pen I thought about the Lotus flower
Now I'm 19 bout to graduate High School
It was Shayde with young in the front til' I hit 21
Went from being the quiet one in the class
To having the loudest voice in my craft when niggas thought they could brag
Like what the sun is to earth shade is to light
Like what questions are to answers its the reason I write they're unsaid
