I love my life I love christ but why can't settle down

I Lost my Father to heart conditions that day was tragic
I Lost two Uncles from weapons bodies were wrapped in plastic
I also lost a friend cause of cancer I hate this madness
I also lost a few idols of mine them pistols blasting

Since elementary my motives remained consistent
Spread this love in my heart to the world to remain persistent
Staying true to myself never fazed forever relentless
Learn from elders, be humble, continue growing stupendous

I had this dream I earned everything that I wanted
Family was back together it seemed at last that we bonded
Overwhelmed with such happiness so immune to that darkness
Elgin Ecyoj was known and respected well as an artist

With that being said, Purposely tuning out
If words ain't helping with growth
Don't wanna hear no sounds
Aye okay with silence, internal peace is what I allow
I know sometimes I frown, yet I'm bouncing back if I'm ever down
