As the rain batters hard against my window
My thoughts are drawn high in the sky
From last night's dream to todays news feed
The worlds gone crazy it's official
As the virus moves fast across the country
Will we make it through and survive
Or will we all die and fail to fly high
I'm just not feeling optimistic
We should all come together as a country
As we are all a part of this mess
let's put our phones down and let's speak our minds
And work out how we will survive
Because in the end we're all gonna suffer
We should all make a change right now
I don't want to be a part of history

As the flood warnings call out across the land
We should all offer up our helping hand
To be a part of something great
See how many lives we can change
But it seems as though our time is running out
