Robert Don Hunter Dougan () is an Australian composer, known for his genre-blending music. Mixing elements of orchestral music, trip hop, and bluesy vocals, his work is tangentially relatable to electronic music. He is known primarily for his breakthrough 1995 single "Clubbed to Death (Kurayamino Variation)", further popularised by 1999's The Matrix soundtrack. "Clubbed to Death" was re-released on his debut album Furious Angels in 2002, seven years after its initial release, as well as providing several variations of the song, most notably the Kurayamino variation; he has also provided a variation of the Moby song "Porcelain". In 1995, he teamed up with Rollo Armstrong to remix the U2 song "Numb"; the remix was titled "Numb (Gimme Some More Dignity Mix)". more »

Give up what you crazy
We gotta raise these babies
Rap for me everything else for you
Raising a man and a woman so beautiful
Just like their momma
Practice eye contact and good karma
And if you want it go get it
Look at daddy look at Ebed
Yea we did it we ain't finished
And if you want it go get it
Let's talk excellence
Work hard 'til you don't know what second is
I don't shame who don't get this
I speak to my kids and my kids' kids
This bloodline is mine this bloodline is ours
F*ck father time we have the power
This is for you that's trying to do better
All you get is sorry to inform you letters
Harass your past but you've grown
And you've known you gotta do better
Nobody's perfect the struggle is worth it
Put down your phone go find your purpose
Don't feel worthless it'll hurt your kids
Put down your phone go find your purpose
Give up I'll break out in hives
You and me are different like Jekyll and Hyde
Many winters and summers I did survive
Get blown away by the force of my drive
These are layups I ain't dunking yet
Patience wait I'll be something great
Accustomed to not have not good I'm not bad
Not gassed I'm not flat half assed I'm not that
Where I'm from you're not supposed to make it
You hearing me I already made it
R O B if I tried I couldn't fake it
E P T the place that I was raised in
Hey I'm not supposed to be
I should've died in a robbery
Dishwasher mickey d's that was me
Unknown territory Phoenix AZ
It was two of them with guns
It was 4 of us we couldn't run
Dressed in all black from the hoodie to the laces
Clown mask on faces goodness gracious
One heads to the safe one walks us to the basement
Up against the wall gun's to our faces
Now we make eye contact
Is this it will I go flat
Gaze down the barrel 18 years old
He gets called up stairs we stay froze
They exit through the back the story ends
My first and last day working at golden m
