My name is MC Birthday Celebration I'd like to celebrate birthdays across the nation Anyone who was born on December 23 Can just come and follow me We're gonna bake you a cake for goodness sake And then give you some presents Sorry for that hesitance I just get excited talking about birthday plans My name is MC Death I'm the opposite of birth Kids, you should do meth And not have any mirth Death day is every day, even birthdays So what's the point of celebration? I'd like people to die across the nation I'm MC Birthday again and good lord Sounds like you should stuff your mouth with a gourd That's a terrible thing to stand by And I think you should go and die My name is MC Death. I like things to die But the only question I have is who, what, when, where, and why All that matters is the details of the death Call it. Time for you to breathe your last breath After I finish these bars You're gonna run into a bunch of cars You're gonna die of various diseases Like measles Yo. My name is MC Birthday I like people to get their mirth. I say We should be happy all the time But there are certain days where you have to try to rhyme Because rhyming's more fun in a celebration About your birthday when you, without procrastination Left the womb, and you entered a hospital room And from then on, it's been there to the tomb But until then, you're gonna live and be reborn Every day of every month of every year Celebration's here Be alive, try to survive, 'cause why not? F*ck it, it's worth it And if you can, make a person, go and birth it I'm MC Birthday, my thing is Since we're here We might as well live Yo! What's the point of struggling against chaos? Don't you know it's gonna win at the end of days? I'm here to say to you That the universe does not work in your favor, Jew I don't know Sounds like MC Death lost his flow Seemed like a pretty shitty rebuttal, huh? He also said Jew, which, I don't know where that came from Yo, I'm MC Birth I said that already, but here's what I didn't mention I'm Jewish I think MC Death may be antisemitic And we could use an antisemitism diuretic Yo! MC Birth in the house I'd like you to scurry quick as a mouse And take your shameful hatred back to where it came from And if you're in it for the fun, then you should play a different game, son Yo. I don't think many things should die, but I say That hatred should go away. Every day We celebrate birth because it's the creation of new things But hatred tries to shame out Jew things I'm MC Birth. I don't believe everything should live The things that want things to die? I don't know You tolerate everything but intolerance You feel me? (You tolerate everything but intolerance) (You tolerate everything but intolerance) (You tolerate everything but intolerance) Listen. Between the two of us, you know I'm the cooler one I'm the riskier one, the scarier one I'm the guy who whispers in your ear and tells you To do things that society tells you not to do Yo. I'm the voice of temptation I try to tell people across the nation To go outside their comfort zone If you're always scared of being dead, then you'll always be alone You'll never try for something new and make a mistake Maybe even say Jew when you had no reason to But all this is to say that death is part of the cycle I had a friend named Michael Michael was a regular guy Who was always afraid that he might die He was a germaphobe And he used to pull on his earlobe When he got nervous He worked in customer service He was always disinfecting the counter If he found a horse, he wouldn't mount her Look. The point being that Michael lived his whole life in fear You know what I hear? That leads to demise You're being dead while you're still alive Life is better than not being alive Even if you don't thrive, it's better to survive Than to throw in the towel and pick up a trowel And dig your own grave. To be alive is to be brave! The point of life is that it's a struggle You don't have to be a boy in a bubble But if you are, that's okay Life comes in many forms, and every birth has its day My name's Death, and I'll concede it Birth has a point and I'm gonna heed it Maybe we could work together instead of fighting I think that that's kind of exciting What if Death and Birth teamed up together? Yeah. We'd be births of a feather Yo! We worked out our differences Yo. Let's bring it home. Alright Death and life Are two sides of the same coin If we didn't have the other You couldn't be either one Death is defined in relation to life. It's the absence of it And life always results in death Without it, it wouldn't have any meaning at all Death and life are both necessary parts of existence I don't mean to speak with too much insistence But we should all come to peace with the fact that Even when you're 23 years old It doesn't mean you should be too bold Life is sacred, and I could take it away any day Even on a birthday You should celebrate every day like it's a day of birth Because it's another day that you can have mirth Hey, you're sounding a lot like me And I think I kind of agree MC Birth And MC Death Worked out our differences Let's go try meth
