June eighteenth, that's where it all started
Another king was making way never was outspoken
Leaving by the day, many miles away a young lad from the gutters looking for a way
And I'm not talking bout the east end or the highway
I'm talking bout a way of life, more like a purpose
Kept searching till I found that I have talent
A blessing from the Lord above showered me with greatness
And all has been bestowed right upon my soul
And so I take my dreams turn them into goals
I want my name to shed a little bit of hope
We living in a world that is very cold

I came in this with a mission make a solid reputation I've been doing this for years and trust me I've been very patient
I've been getting knocked down, I've been getting beat up, no matter what you do, im'a Stand right back up
Cause this is in my heart, my passion never drowns, my spirit never breaks and I'll never walk away

I confront all my demons, and I conqueror everyone of them
Living like an eagle, I keep watch of the system and I calculate my moves 
I don't let my guard down take a look from all the sides I don't ever slip out
Or ever slip down there's a very huge difference
What it comes to me I always do it with a reason
See my mind is like a prison
And I locked my thoughts so I keep to myself till my heart is on the spot
My first million goes straight to the woman who raised me
So proud to be your son you're the person who made me
If it wasn't for your struggles I wouldn't be here today
I thank god for the blessings that he brought to the family

So June 18th, fast forward 20 years in the future I reflect and I'm giving thanks
I'm proud of where I am, proud of where I'm going, proud of all my failures cause they made me who I am

It was a very cold day on a very cold night
And history decided to bring upon a new light
In the form of a boy who was destined to shine
Destined for greatness and to grow to be a star
