It stomps my eyes
In bed at home, I tell myself

And thanks to my partner
For kissing my forehead
Saying, "We've made it this far
We'll make it out alive. You were born to survive"
I'll reuse my PPE to get close to your loved ones

Well, I should get tested but think of the cost
Can my mind be healthy
If I'm financially lost
It seems silly to think about right now
Thinking long term, past this disease
Oh never mind, a patient's at the door
Running out of gear, and not getting more - yeah, I gotta run

What we know now, what we didn't know then
If we could do it all over
Would we do it again
