Heavenly Father here I am again
Down on my knees begging for your peace and for your mercy
I took my eyes away from you and then
I started sinking so very deep in my iniquities
Lost, confused and struggling with carnality
With fallacies and principalities to battle me
New mercy daily 'cause perfect, you know I'll never be
Til I'm with you in Heaven where I'll forever be
So help me Jesus, awaken and release us
From watered down versions of your Word that only please us
Replacing repentance with apologies to mislead us
And filling our heads with sex and violence to trap and seize us
But Lord you see us, the ones you gave your heart
Not rollin with the worldly flow but destined to stand apart
You knew us and protected us right from the very start
Forever be my guiding light that's leading from me the dark
Cause I can't see my way (Living without you)
And I do what you say (It's you I bow to)
So your will I obey (And never doubt you)
Whatever you say, Father it's done, I'm all about you
I made a vow to keep you first
Living Water that's ever flowing to relieve my thirst
Bread of life, Word in my spirit, I'm stronger with each verse
Sold out I'm yours for good or bad, better or worse

How in the world can you keep dealing with us as we continue to lust
After the things that the world brings
You want to show us how to truly be loved but we continue to fuss
Crying, complaining that our blessings are being postponed
Then sitting acting like we got everything on our own
Turn up our nose at other folks (We know we're wrong)
When if it wasn't for grace and mercy, we would be long gone
But you keep me rolling on, to you Jesus I'm holding on
And telling the glory of your story until I'm cold and gone
Reaping the greatness of your harvest, because your seed was sown
And working while it's day, 'cause when night falls, I'm coming home
And though I let you down again, your forgiveness Lord you gave
No more wallowing in sin, now just giving you the praise
Heading your Revealations, flee temptation no hesitation
Steady praying, Lord we're waiting for better days

I keep fighting the swarm
These devils just won't let me be
They're here for my harm
But sufficient is your grace for me
Cleared out the haze, now I gaze at sun rays
It's been amaz-ing, glory and praise to You for better days
