Where to begin? I got this empty page in front of me
A clean slate, another chance to be somebody
Dream state, head buzzing like a bumblebee
I'm feeling great, the ground pulls away from under me
Tryina get a hold, but I'm falling uncontrollably
Totally immersed in this ocean of poetry
Floating in an alphabet soup (yeah)
A group of mermaids swimming in loops
Handing me vowels and handing me consonants
I'm movin' em round and arranging them with confidence
Pairing them with sounds that resonate across continents
With every rhyme I regain a little oxygen
And slowly start to float back to the surface
I reach the shore once I fulfil my purpose
Read what I wrote in the hope that it's perfect
And if it doesn't flow you can be sure I'ma re-word it

Time spirals like a vinyl when I'm tryina find the rhyme
Never no idle time, I am maximising mine
Writing all day and all night
Until rays of bright light tell me to rise and shine
Like Eisenstein, I compose this picture beautifully
Words reduced to truth that I expose like nudity
This shit ain't new to me, been kicking rhymes since puberty
Just glad you never knew me as a newbie rapping prudishly
Now I'm a boss at kicking at that raw shit, ready to flow like a faucet
Quick as a rocket, picking ya pocket, never concerned about profits
If it were ninety nine I'd be signed to Rawkus
This beat is mighty fine maybe even flawless
My work is honest, some might even say sincere
My rhymes are polished like a crystal chandelier
Sometimes I look within and lines just appear
