Of a pirate with no boat to sail
It was ruined by the reef
On a stormy day
He'd had a crew he picked in twos
From Trinidad and from England too

To find what their hearts desired most
The wreckage of a ship
Brought on by their hands

So they tried to run away
As a storm came in to say

Now the captain he sits on high
For he's come to face his final night
Where by his sins he is judged
For his crimes
And down he'll go from head to toe
The crowd will chant for they all know
His body will hang
Out in the bay

Now they finally found the one
For which to put their burdens on
He was once apart of the Royal Navy
Yes, he was once one of them
