We're going down to crazy town

About our days back in school

My brothers and I were out all day
With the kids in the neighborhood
We'd go down the hill, or out to the field
And dream of living out in the woods

When we were kids we played with our toys
We joined a band and made lots of noise
But I gotta say one of my greatest joys
Was hanging out with the Glendale Boys

We'd bop to the Sweet Shop
Or Cabel's Country Corner
To get a pack of baseball gum
We'd creep past the Spooky House
And cut through the woods
But you gotta watch out for the bums

We'd dump on Mr. Pumpa
We were sweet on Miss Berry
She couldn't slip the Murray Grip
Chin ups on the monkey bars
Cherry bombs in model cars
Yeah, that's when Ghoulardi was hip (Turn blue!)

Ooh, walking down Broadway
It seemed like it was sunny every day
Ooh, everything was okay, it was going our way
life could never get me down
It sure was great having the Glendale Boys around

Hiking back to the woods, playing ball in the field
Homebase was an x in the dirt
One time I fell in the Stinky Pond
And I lost my favorite Batman shirt

We'd take a trip to Tinker's Creek or down to the pool
Later we played in Walton Hills
Denny and Joe, at the talent show
Man, I hear they're out there rockin' still
