Going through depression changes your life
One minute you're happy
One minute you're sad
You don't know how to explain yourself
It's tough
But you can all get through it
I promise you
Put your faith in something and get through this weakness
And you will conquer it
I dropped outta college that's a fact
Didn't care about my grades high school I barely passed
Drugs and alcohol control my past
Depression kicked in listened to my thoughts to my past
Don't know to stop it God help me please
I never got help now i'm begging on my knees
My music helps me but can only do a crease
Help me lord im fighting a disease
I saw kids in school who would cut themselves
I always judged them made me feel better bout myself
Wish i would have taken time to help them out
They were sitting there and they were crying for help
Now i'm going through it and I understand
I wish you were here just give me your hand
I cant do this anymore why do I pretend
Reach on out and give me your hand
What happened in your life that turned it upside down instantly
Fighting for your life it seemed like losing hope just let me be
Laying in your bed alone the days are long skipping beats

I lost my appetite i was feeling so sad
I couldn't undo what happened in the past

Listened to a therapist but didn't help at all
Talking bout my problems wont fix a broken wall
I had to learn to get back up it doesn't matter what i saw

Why is this happening every single day
Did someone do something what did they say
Letting thoughts get to you ruins every day
Just think positive reach for the sky
God has a plan I promise use your head and your eyes
I wanna help to make a difference i wanna try
I wanna see you conquer life i want you to survive

And I cant fully explain how I got through it
My music changed my life
