Nocturnal eyes, distant wind
Olden lies, left behind
In this valley many souls came to die
Obscure complains by the mill
Over the plains time stands still
Shadows dance around the fire of their burden
She's meeting the moonlight while whispering
Waiting for some sort of a miracle
Tireless rain keeps on falling
Feeding the soil once more
Death was standing on the hill
Soon to be joined by the procession
Esoteric chants filled the air that night
As the widow pulls her veil away

Every sight of winter morning
Reminds me of this strange tale
In these hallways dwells a mystery
If only the trees could speak
The widow by the mill

Forgotten woes, elysean night
Circling crows, dimming light
Ghostly choirs haunt the moor with grief in heart
So many years have passed now
Since the night she defeated Death itself
The sun never rose on Whitehorn Village
Forever cursed by her spell
Painting the skies of tomorrow
She's never seen these clouds so lyrical
Not a soul ever saw her silhouette
But many claim that she still haunts the mill

Every sight of winter morning
Reminds me of this strange tale
In these hallways dwells a mystery
If only the trees could speak
The widow by the mill
