In contemporary history, the 3rd (third) millennium is the current millennium in the Anno Domini or Common Era, under the Gregorian calendar. It began on 1 January 2001 (MMI) and will end on 31 December 3000 (MMM), spanning the 21st to 30th centuries. Ongoing futures studies seek to understand what will likely continue and what could plausibly change in this period and beyond. more »

Sunday morning, eight o'clock sharp
Everyone was getting ready for their vacation
For the break had come
Prancing all around
The kids were playing their volleyballs
And soccer balls. Basketballs too
Everyone was having the time of their lives
And so came a dark shadow onto the sky
Was it an eclipse? or was it just an entity?

Now they say that we're not gonna die
Yet they see a danger right ahead of their faces, oh
Is this what they were talking about?
A meteor hitting our planet, earth?
What are we going to do?
Are we gonna die like this?
No-oh-oh-oh-oh

Everyone saw the entity getting bigger and bigger by the second
Everyone was starting to get worried
Some were peeing their pants, and others were crying
Some started to pack bags, run away, get their keys to the car
So they can get away of this monstrous event about to occur
Suddenly, every news broadcasting station started
To spread a message that was quite ominous for this time
"Pack your bags and get away"
Everyone started worrying and prancing in a bad way
A negative way, to be exact
Where were they headed to?
They didn't know

Every broadcasting station said, and I quote
"Everyone, evacuate your living spaces
And head to the nearest local boarding station for ships"
Everyone started panicking to these devastating news
They still didn't know what was going on
And they were being forced to leave their homes immediately

Now they say that we're not gonna die
Yet they see a danger right ahead of their faces, oh
Is this what they were talking about?
A meteor hitting our planet, earth?
What are we going to do?
Are we gonna die like this?
No-oh-oh-oh-oh

One hour had passed, nine o'clock sharp
Every news broadcasting station
Nationwide, worldwide, said these following words
"Our dearest citizens
We regret to inform you that many scientific organizations have said
'An asteroid is heading towards earth
At the speed of one-thousand kilometers per hour
It is the size of almost the entire moon'
So please evacuate into your nearest ship boarding station at this moment"

Now, understandably
Every single person was so confused
Of why they were going to a ship boarding station
What was that gonna do to them?
The ships would stay on earth they're certainly not going to another planet
Are they?

Now they say that we're not gonna die
Yet they see a danger right ahead of their faces, oh
Is this what they were talking about?
A meteor hitting our planet, earth?
What are we going to do?
Are we gonna die like this?
No-oh-oh-oh-oh
Now they say that we're not gonna die
Yet they see a danger right ahead of their faces, oh
Is this what they were talking about?
A meteor hitting our planet, earth?
What are we going to do?
Are we gonna die like this?
No-oh-oh-oh-oh
