(Trumpeter) 	I can hear Hawaiian drums – 
				Are they in the orchestra?

(Wizard) 			No! The orchestra’s the place for the woodwind ace,
				And to play them you must blow.

(Flooters) 			We can play everyday, in a musical way,
				Making sounds like the birds in the trees.
				But don’t blow too hard, or like a house of cards
				You'll blow yourself down in the breeze!

(All) 				Now we know how woodwind go,
				We’ll be doing the orchestra samba!

(Drummer) 		I can hear a cheesy synth – 
				Is it in the orchestra?

(Wizard) 			No! The orchestra’s the place for the brass - they’re ace,
				And to play them you must blow…a raspberry!

(Trumpeters) Sounds rude, but it’s not so crude
				When the raspberry hits a metal tube.
				Then soon our trumpets start to sing,
				Playing fanfares fit for a king.

(All) 				Now we know how trumpets go,
				We’ll be doing the orchestra samba!

(Flooter) 			I can hear a rock guitar – 
				Is it in the orchestra?

(Wizard) 			No! The orchestra’s the place for the strings - they’re ace,
				And all you need’s a bow!


(Fiddlers) 		He’s a silly old moo, ’cause that’s not quite true.
				If your bow’s gone you’re in luck!
				Put it under your chin, give a big fat grin,
				’Cause you know you can always pluck!

(All) 				Now we know how fiddles go,
				We’ll be doing the orchestra samba!

				We can hear a Bash! Bash! Bang! – 
				Is that in the orchestra?

(Wizard) 			Yes! It’s called percussion, and their constant crashing
				Means you might just end up deaf!


(Fiddlers) 			We are very, very loud, and very, very proud
				Of our place on all the clefs.
				But don’t stand too near or your poor old ears
				Won’t pass any hearing tests!

(All) 				Now we know how drummers go,
				We’ll be doing the orchestra samba!
				
(All) 				Now we know how they all go,
				We’ll be doing the orchestra,
				Playing the orchestra,
				Doing the orchestra samba!
				Orchestra!
