Lord i been kinda lacking on my patience
It's been a while since I last prayed
I'm still waiting on a sign
A green light, just a little signal
To certify my plans, even if it's just a little
And yeah i know I'm not supposed to lean on my own understanding
And I'm sorry if I seem a bit demanding

Forgive me please, I just know what I want
Besides, you said that you would give me the desires of my heart
Now, I admit a better car would be nice
But not expensive in price
Plush seats, drop top, red rims'll be tight
A big house with 5 rooms with a yard in the back
So my kids can play safe and I know where they at
And maybe 6 figures or more
Is that too much to ask for?
You know what I need
If I could hit the lottery
Then i'll be set up for the rest of my life
Just want to give the best to my kids and my wife
Now all that's good and great and yea, I would love it

God, there's so many things I see that I need

But I can't take it for granted or even demand it

I'm never worthy of a blessing

But I know that your love is perfected in me
I won't deny or throw away what you invested in me
You saw the best in me when I didn't see it myself
You kept loving me being my ever present help, indeed
You give me so many reasons to thank you
This testimony I give will serve as my breakthrough
Take you with me as a break em in two
