The Final Cut is the twelfth studio album by the English rock band Pink Floyd, released on 21 March 1983 through Harvest and Columbia Records. It comprises unused material from the band's previous studio album, The Wall (1979), alongside new material recorded throughout 1982. The Final Cut is the last Pink Floyd album to feature founding member Roger Waters, who departed from the band in 1985. It is also the only Pink Floyd album not to feature founding member and keyboardist Richard Wright, who had left the band under pressure from Waters after the Wall sessions. The recording was plagued by conflict; the guitarist, David Gilmour, felt many of the tracks were not worthy of inclusion, but Waters accused him of failing to contribute material himself. Still standing alone in the sand
Look always at the same horizon
The light of the moon, covers me
And I feel like a rat in a cage
Wake up, stand up it's time to react my dear
And I know where I am
Hope one day we'll meet again
Wake up, stand up it's time to react my dear
And I know where I am
Hope one day we'll meet again
I'm tired, I'm tired I'm tired of being at your commands
They don't know how it fells to be too far away from home
We suffer in the first line
What's the meaning of this war
Nobody knows why we gotta live side by side covered in blood
The dawn arrives too early on our souls
We don't know if we would see the sunset today we suffer in the first line
I have no news from too much time
I'm still here waiting for you
During our training we learnt to look
After brothers in arms
Like never before
I'm wondering how can I take care of you?
For ever and ever
And I even don't know if you're still alive
I have had, I have had, I have had enough
'Cause I'm feed up to listen you whining
About the bullshits you're saying 'cause we are suffering in the first line
And everyone asking to himself what's the meanining of this shitty life
I wish I would to be along a girl, a car, a beach, a whore, my friends, be stoned
To share one more time in this amazing life again
I have no news from too much time
I'm still here waiting for you
During our training we learnt to look
After brothers in arms
Like never before
I'm wondering how can I take care of you?
For ever and ever
And I even don't know if you're still alive
