Monsters haunt me as I flee and it's like I run in clay
The streets are filled with stop signs, but I don't stop anyway
Things I've never heard about get made up in my head
I have seen nothing like it, it's like nothing I have read

With a big board right in front of me I'm standing throwing darts
Hitting what to put together, the sum way worse than it's parts
A bald man with a pear shaped head beside a rusty fence
Behind a dirty stone wall, a faded tree amid incense

And the curtains
The curtains soak up the light
My eyelids get heavy
As I slumber into the night

Red light sun, cutting through yellow breeze
Pink water runs, in a stream between purple trees
Blue mountains high, rising up to a dark green sky
Reflecting themselves in my eyes, as consciousness starts to rise
The dream is now gone
Or was I awake all along?

Woodland critters in big groups stare down my disguise
Their faces don't have two eyes, but seven, eight or nine
Suddenly I'm out at sea, fishing from a boat
And when the line starts pulling, I'm the fish that bites the float

And the curtains
