He has depression in his eyes
He told me that he was fine
But it was obviously that that was a lie
There was something going on in his mind
I could tell something wasn't right
It was an all too familiar sight

In your mind, all the time, it'll be screaming out
And you'll hear it pretty soon if you're not hearing it now
And after a year you'll be leaving out
The few things that wouldn't keep you down
And all the things you had peace about
Will be causing you stress when you think about
But reality isn't gonna be what you hear
Or what you see and it'll be looking weird
You're going to see tons of pain and tons of fear
And your gonna hear some things that will cut your ears
But that's not truth you gonna be OK
And He loves you more than you could possibly believe
He's gonna come through, and save the day
But just know dude it's not when you think

Kid was super real, it kinda of threw me off
But I respected that, and he wasn't walking off
So I said I feel you man but just hear me talk
See I've been there before in that very spot
And you need a place to go when life's a lot
He said I don't got nobody but I cut him off
I don't mean people you gotta talk to God
Think about the things they said to you
And all the people that disrespected you
And even when they're not trying to get the best of you
The reality is they got a head to lose
I do mean temper but the dead stuff too
Because they can't do everything that they said they'd do
When life gets dark and you think deaths the move
