Head spinning round and round
I'm falling to the ground
No way to get on my feet
Dreaming my legs are asleep
It's been hours since I saw any other signs of life

So, I'm stuck here feeling like a goldfish in a pond
Constructed by a landscaper and I think his name is Juan
Above me is a bridge I hope to one day cross
I'll float on waiting for an evolutionary loss

Then as the sun goes down, the nightmares come
I want to run somehow, I won't get too far

Head spinning round and round
I'm falling to the ground
No way to get on my feet
I think my legs are asleep

I'm beat up and I think I got kicked in the head
Laying at the bottom to pretend that I am dead
I'll grow back any parts that have need ripped from me
Can't my fins grow back as hands and my tail grow back as feet

Then as the sun goes down, the nightmares come
I want to run somehow, I won't get too far
It's been hours since I saw any other signs of life
