Never Coming Home

Falling Away is the second album by American rock band Crossfade, released on August 29, 2006. According to Mitch James, the band's bass player, the album has sold a little over 200,000 copies to date, short of the platinum status of their self-titled debut. As a result, Crossfade parted ways with Columbia Records. The album spawned three singles: "Invincible", "Drown You Out", and "Already Gone". The song "Breathing Slowly" was also on the band's first album, Numb, which they released in 1999 under the name The Nothing. more »

I'm getting drunk again
Haven't talked to my friends in weeks
Seems like every conversations just a runaround
Know the minute that I hang up I'll just be let down
Late at night
I'll be staring at the ceiling again
And I never hear the phone ring

So cut me open
Tell me what's inside
Is it everything that you'd hoped to find
I've been trying to get by
To get by, get by
And it seems like every single day
I just fall apart
In a brand new way
I wish that I could feel nothing
Feel nothing, feel nothing

When we say goodbye
I bet that you won't cry
Just know that it kills me
Just know that I die
And every time
That I fucking try
I end up getting hurt
I end up getting hurt
And every time
That I fucking try
I end up getting hurt
I end up getting hurt

So cut me open
Tell me what's inside
Is it everything that you'd hoped to find
I've been trying to get by
To get by, get by
And it seems like every single day
I just fall apart
In a brand new way
I wish that I could feel nothing
Feel nothing, feel nothing

Listen to you cry
And I don't know what to say
And it breaks my heart
To make it through another day
I'll just say nothing
And you'll hang up
Send me a text
Say I don't give a f*ck

Listen to you cry
And I don't know what to say
And it breaks my heart
To make it through another day
I'll just say nothing
And you'll hang up
Send me a text
Say I don't give a f*ck

Listen to you cry
And I don't know what to say
And it breaks my heart
To make it through another day
I'll just say nothing
And you'll hang up
Send me a text
Say I don't give a f*ck
I don't give a f*ck

So cut me open
Tell me what's inside
Is it everything that you'd hoped to find
I've been trying to get by
To get by, get by
And it seems like every single day
I just fall apart
In a brand new way
I wish that I could feel nothing
Feel nothing, feel nothing

Start crying and I don't know what to say
Woah oh oh
Breaks my heart to make it through another day
Woah oh oh
Start crying and I don't know what to say
Woah oh oh
Breaks my heart to make it through another day
Woah oh oh
