Coach Kody Welcome to a story that you've heard before But never quite like this, the old ones were a bore Once upon a night out of nowhere a roar The rain began to rain and the thunder a storm On the tippy tip top of a winding road There sat a castle where our story unfolds A mysterious man dressed in all black Left a baby at the door in a blanket all wrapped Mr and Mrs. Dracul came to open the door And surely they were surprised by what they saw An oh so sweet little bundle of a joy The look in their eyes as they stared at this boy They brought him in with a hug and a smile They would raise him with love as if he was their child But as he grew in age things began to change He wouldn't play in the sun and he began to grow fangs He would sleep in his room hanging upside down And all day long he'd wear a cape and a gown He would flap his arms around the house like a bat Til one day his mother had enough and she snapped Dracula my darling it's time to go to school But the thought of school was torture, how could she be so cruel He begged and he pleaded momma please let me stay They're going to make fun of my cape and my fangs Now, now my dear it is fine You've been alone for too long for friends it is time To the bitty bit bottom of the unwinding road He stared out the window they waved as he goes This feeling so sick in the bottom of his stomach He's never had a friend and never been in public He arrives at the school so big he is amazed But terrified of his first day in the 3rd grade He makes his way to the small little class Where he is greeted by his teacher the young Mrs. Glass Hello, welcome, come in, say hi Class this is Dracula he stood there so shy Now who would like to help Dracula to a seat From the back of the class a small voice me me It belonged to a boy named Abraham Van Helsing An excellent student overachiever always helping They sat next to each other and quickly became friends I wish I could say that this is where our story ends But out the corner of his eye Dracula spots a girl She turns around gives a smile gives her hair a twirl Van Helsing Van Helsing who is that girl Who Where Her There With the long black hair Oh that's just Mina Van Helsing replied Why you like her or something Dracula denied It's time for Recess class Dracula was surprised by the sound of the bell And what is this recess for he could not tell Van Helsing yelled out as he stood by the door Dracula you coming we're going to play explore Dracula unsure went to the window to see The sun was shining bright he knew it couldn't be He told Van Helsing that he'd meet him outside But he knew deep down that that was a lie He looked out the window as children laugh and play Then over by the slide something to his dismay It was Mina and Van Helsing going down the slide Hand in hand together having a good time This made Dracula very very angry His fangs grew longer and his hands began shaking His skin more pale His widows peak prevailed Eghhhughh Then poof just like that Dracula turned into a bat He found an open window and flew outside The playground he began to terrorize All the children laughing quickly became screams And that's when Dracula woke up from his dream And there his mother stood with a great big smile Wake up it's time for your first day of school my child
