I lost my sense of self and my identity
Ran away from God and started running with my enemy

But he was playing quite a game that was just too advanced for me
He offered me the world you know all of that vanity
And I was hoping I would find me some freedom financially
But without God
Cause of impatience I switched sides
And I was racing to get Canaan I was hating to sit by
And watch all of my years slip by
And feel all of these tears drip down my face damn it's hot
Up in this oven got a dozen demons in here with me
Ain't up for discussion gotta cousin we ain't really friendly
The repercussions got the reaper running down to get me
I see death around the corner I need Jesus to forgive me
Now I'm on my knees
Thinking back to my mistakes replaying to my deeds
Remembering only my savior can meet all my needs
I had to run back to his presence
Now I'm living in the present and it's pleasant
Got the leverage on my enemies

Keep it a hunnit like a centipede
I'm from a different type of pedigree
I'm never stopping never settling
I got no other option I'm a boss so ima cross into my promises
I took too many loses but the cross is sufficient
To convert them all in to sources of hope
I got washed by the soap
That's the blood of Jesus Christ that He shed
So I could have eternal life
