The Son of God came to earth but not to stay
He had a purpose to point us on our way
To show us who's the potter and that we are the clay
He was born to die then to raise on the third day
On that night God looked down upon His Son
Who prayed a prayer, "Not My will but Yours be done"
He didn't fight but surrendered to the ones
Who nailed Him there upon a cross
But no one could take His life
He laid it down, a sacrifice
