As Rose thought of the prince being locked up somewhere in the castle, she started to search the castle.
The desire to find the prince overwhelmed Rose. She soon forgot about the fear of the beast.
It truly is a large castle. I wonder how high it is? Let me search the third floor today.
The castle was truly grand. But it wasnt just its sheer size that made it amazing. Rose stood in front of the very first room on the third floor.
Oh my...its all me!
The room was full of mirrors of various shapes and sizes. There were big mirrors, small mirrors, round mirrors, star-shaped ones. In each mirror Rose saw her reflection but each mirror showed Rose at various stages of her life.
Why, thats me on my tenth birthday! I remember how much I loved that dress. What an amazing room. My sisters would never believe me if I told them...
Rose looked at each mirror spellbound by what she saw. But from the corner of her eye she saw an item hanging off the chandelier.
Why...isnt this a bracelet? Why is this hanging here?
Rose reached up and grabbed it. She examined it carefully. Right in the middle of the bracelet hung another small box.
Its the prince. Why is his picture here?
Inside the small box was a tiny portrait of the prince Rose met in her dream. She was delighted to see his face and she kept looking at it. The portrait looked back at her too. Rose thought the prince in the portrait was smiling back at her.
I will find you, prince. Just wait a little longer.
Filled with courage, Rose held on tightly to the bracelet and walked out of the mirror room. She walked down the hallway.
Then she heard music coming from somewhere.
It sounds like a harp. What a lovely sound! Could there be someone else inside the castle? Perhaps its the prince...?
Her heart was beating fast. The music was coming from a room with a purple door. Rose headed toward the music. When she opened the door, she saw that the room was full of musical instruments and each instrument was playing on its own!
Its beautiful!
When Rose entered the room, a large harp from the center of the room bounced over to Rose. It was playing some of Rose and her siblings favorite music.
Hearing the lovely music made Rose think of her family. 
I hope father arrived home safely. I miss my brothers and sisters.
Harp, cello, violin, piano, flute. All the instruments performed together and the music had a soothing effect on Rose. She felt calm and the music brought back fond memories of her family.
Thank you all so much. What a wonderful performance! I shall come back to this room again.
Feeling happy, Rose went to the next room. It was a library and the room was covered with books, from floor to ceiling.
It had many comfortable chairs all around and many candles.
Cinderella...this is the book my sister read to me. And Gulliver's Travel, the one my older brother liked so much. What language is this book written in? The writing looks so strange.
Rose went looking for her favorite books and sat reading in the most comfortable chair.
She also came across adventure stories she had never heard of.
Time passed and it was getting dark outside. The candles inside the room lit up on its own to give Rose the brightness she needed to read her books.
Even if I read five books a day, I would probably never get to all the books in this room. What should I read next?
Rose kept reading but realized she was hungry. She left the library and returned to the small room with a fireplace. Amazingly, she found that the table was set for dinner.
I dont remember seeing anyone here in the castle but the beast. Who is preparing all the food? Well, thank you whoever you are.
While Rose had been sad when her father left, her visits to the magical rooms had consoled her. She enjoyed having dinner alone. Surely, she thought, its better than having to eat with the beast.
This castle is so wonderful. It has beautiful music, endless books to read, and tasty food to eat. What an amazing place! Only if the beast wasnt here...
Just as she was finishing her chocolate pudding, she heard loud footsteps. It was the beast...
