Werewolves

In folklore, a werewolf (from Old English werwulf 'man-wolf'), or occasionally lycanthrope (from Ancient Greek λυκάνθρωπος, lukánthrōpos, 'wolf-human') is an individual who can shape-shift into a wolf (or, especially in modern film, a therianthropic hybrid wolf-like creature), either purposely or after being placed under a curse or affliction (often a bite or the occasional scratch from another werewolf), with the transformations occurring on the night of a full moon. Early sources for belief in this ability or affliction, called lycanthropy, are Petronius (27–66) and Gervase of Tilbury (1150–1228). The werewolf is a widespread concept in European folklore, existing in many variants, which are related by a common development of a Christian interpretation of u… more »

It's been my goal to live and write these songs
I not sure how long that I can hold on
'Cause the home welcome mat is almost gone
My dreams without you is just a psalm

Like its something that I have to do in your loss
Trading you to get this isn't what I want
Been on this path so long I am virtually lost
I can't give up, I've come too far

I can't just quit, I have paid a cost
I can't just act like I don't hate this
Can't love you and still try to be famous
If my dreams come true, you and I won't make it

City to stage and I feel so naked
Turn the page 'cause I can't save us
No rage just the same pain reincarnated
Heart pains and our apartment still vacant

It's been my goal to live and write these songs
I not sure how long that I can hold on
'Cause the home welcome mat is almost gone
My dreams without you is just a psalm

Changing all these faces I'm soaring the world, now
With or without you
Not bought by guilt of even chances that you'll go
'Cause I know you've grown too far down below

I'm so low in half of these moments
But I'm proud at most of these road shows
All alone but not trapped by your notions
With you I was so afraid that I would blow it

You can be so cold and you turned my voice frozen
Now free and the world is so open
It pulled me out of the bottom of the ocean
Something about these streets and its aroma

Guitar strings and these poems hold me
I am hardly over it, and I am still carving
Our names in the trees along my journeys
I hope you're okay and you don't worry

It's been my goal to live and write these songs
I not sure how long that I can hold on
'Cause the home welcome mat is almost gone
My dreams without you is just a psalm
How

Running all these mazes and paving the world, now
With or without love
You've been broken in two
Changed faces and grew further down below

We can fall apart just fine
We can make it on our own

It's been my goal to live and write these songs
I not sure how long that I can hold on
'Cause the home welcome mat is almost gone
My dreams without you is just a psalm
