I was never the popular kid
I just thought I didn't fit in
I liked things they didn't like
Playing with toys while they riding bikes
I like movies and TV shows
Altogether I thought they were cool
I just wanted to be the main character
I just wanted to be an actor
That was just a thought in second grade
In a sudden flash, freshmen year came
I saw a poster for the musical
I just thought
Hey, this might be cool
I audition without a thought
I got a part
Who would of thought
I showed up to rehearsal
Feeling like I'm gonna hurl
A lot of people in one room
Some were strangers
Some were new
I felt nervous at the start
But in the end I came so far
I met people I never would of known
My friend Archie has helped me grow
He helped me gain my confidence back
I can't thank him enough for that
All these guys gave me an impact
So, I give you a pat on the back
