Fireflies illuminate the skies
The sweet light in your eyes
Draped in blue right on cue
As I dance alone with you

I just want to be here
With my arms around you
Feel the light of the moon
We fell in love in June

Always seems to rain
You said you felt the same
But the clouds passed when you said my name
Someone else kissing you would tear me in two
I hope you feel the way I do

I just want to be here
With my arms around you
Feel the light of the moon
We fell in love in June

Leave me still with only time to kill
Lay by you on this foothill

I just want to be here
With my arms around you
Feel the light of the moon
We fell in love in June
Feel the light of the moon
We fell in love in June
