Jack Bromwich

John Edward Bromwich (14 November 1918 – 21 October 1999) was an Australian tennis player who, along with fellow countryman Vivian McGrath, was one of the first great players to use a two-handed backhand. He was a natural left-hander, though hit his serve with his right hand. Bromwich twice won the Australian Championships singles title, in 1939 (over Adrian Quist in a straight sets final) and in 1946 (a five-set final victory over Dinny Pails). He was ranked world No. 3 by A. Wallis Myers in 1938 and again by Harry Hopman in 1947. more »

Watermelon shorts
Never fit like they should
Tight around my pants
They never fit

I play a PRS
I love it very much
I teach you modes
Of life

Take my head we're leaving
Come on let's go
If you follow me now
You won't like what you see
I hope this is not the best of me
This is probably the worst I can be

It's not in words that you say
To me
Just tell me what key
This song is in
I'm not feeling like you're understanding
What I'm saying
Anymore

Take my head we're leaving
Come on let's go
If you follow me now
You won't like what you see
I hope this is not the best of me
This is probably the worst I can be
Look back at what you've done to us
This one drink is worth
More than last month
I'm trynna the old you
Looks like you've gone with the old truth

I'm taking my time to like your stupid shorts
I'm taking time to pull off my shorts
Please just wait a second let me breath
No, I won't

Take my head we're leaving
Come on let's go
If you follow me now
You won't like what you see
I hope this is not the best of me
This is probably the worst I can be
Look back at what you've done to us
This one drink is worth
More than last month
I'm trynna the old you
Looks like you've gone with the old truth
