Unbeknownst to me

I rejected myself

I stood up
in front of my mirror
Naked
Taking in every part
Of my body
And loving who
And what I saw

I became
The affirmations
I used to speak
And I lived
As the art
I once marveled at
It was in those
Moments
Where I learned
That I am love
And no one can ever
Take that from me
