Two AM and I'm up again awoke to hear some crying
I get outta bed 'bout now I feel like sighing
But I pick him up and calm him down put him back where he was lying
A little tired though somehow I'm satisfied
Now I'm out the door and off to work cuz I'm a fairly busy man
But I'm always thinking about my favorite little fans
And I keep them close to my heart and I say a prayer for them

Now I'm coming home walk through that door
It seems the kids have just been fed
Cuz there's crumbs all over the floor
Of rolls and crusts of bread
And a little one jumps on my lap
"And just what is this?" I ask
She says I wanted some to save just for you dad
