I fall in love with days like this
When sky is over cast
When sun stays tucked away
And it stays dark when i'm in class
Everything just seems so quiet
Little many cars are on the road
Little work is going on
But mostly people stay at home
Nothing straining my two eyes
There is no bright light to avoid
Everyone just seems so friendly
And not many are annoyed
I think it's nice to have a break
From the light and all the heat
A day where you can sit back breathe and kick up both your feet
I will put in both my headphones
And i'll listen to some songs
I'll write a verse or two
Or buy some shit from amazon
If I look up to see some blue
I swear that I will start to dread
Days like these are just so perfect
I hope that it never ends
And maybe if i'm lucky
The grey sky will start to rain
Bit of water from the sky could really soothe all of my pain
The smell of dew fresh on the grass
Is like a blast far from the past
Of rainy days and coffee cups
The memories is why is love
I know that sunny days are nice
But I prefer the rain
Sit in coffee shops by broadway
And watch vids of all their plays
I'd just save up for a ticket to ride first class on a plane
I would bring all of my stuff to where it's cloudy every day
I'd build a house out in the forest
And I'd only bring my dog
It would take six months to make
I gotta cut down all the logs
Pretty home built in the forest
I'd make friends with all the frogs
I would tell them bout my life
Cause you know they can't even talk
But that's just a fantasy
I know that my life is pretty good
Rainy days just make me wonder
Is life really as should
Even if I had the chance
I really don't know if I would
Maybe when we all get older
I would try it if I could
