Good evening mother good evening father
I write to you today not caring if I'm a bother
See, I was the baby you didn't give a chance
So certain about your body and it's stance
And not think about your out-of-wedlock romance
Now, I'll never go to a high-school dance
And that is fundamentally ill
Couldn't kill me by popping pill
So you waited till the last second to kill
Is that it? Did you get your fill
Why is it we consider a single cell life in outer space
But single cell here on Earth is a life with no place
It confuses me, baffles me
But who am I to tell a woman what to do
It's her body, her right to choose
But it doesn't mean it doesn't bother me
I haven't the clue how to tackle this but it bottles inside me
How people get some over and over again
Like they have sex with no plan
There's tons of absolutely free birth control and condoms
But seem people feel judged when they walk in
And I get that, I feel that
I truly really do
But these feelings are worth fighting
So life doesn't grow inside of you

I'm not saying it's easy to get an abortion
It's the hardest thing I can think of
It's not an easy notion
But once we dehumanize humans then who are we as a society
Playing God back and forth like we're a deity
Please don't twist my words really try to listen
Even in the darkest of eras light can begin to glisten
If you're a woman who's truly lost in her own vision
Talk to the people who love you before you make this decision
I'm not saying it's never ok
I understand the pain you were going through mom and that's ok
I love you and I can't imagine
But I'm the son you could've had and now my spirits crashin'
And to dad, in this case, you're the one to blame
Left mom alone you should be ashamed
Heard the word pregnant and off you go
My life is a dammed up creek with no flow
Because you weren't mature enough to be a father
You're part of the selection of society that should be cannon fodder
Single motherhood is the highest it's been
And most of those are unloyal men
When did becoming a father become too much for this generation to bare
My life isn't a repercussion! Not that you care
Average GPA of a child from a single parent family
Is almost a whole letter grade lower
Two point two than the national average
I don't know about you but these kids don't have room 
So they aim lower, and that's below average
Things like this add up to petty crime
Now they're in jail because father's didn't wanna do the time
Now their kids are doin time
And that's a crime
Back to mom, your decision to not have me is one I support
You couldn't provide the proper life for a child at the time
And you made the decision to abort
And that's not your fault
That's just this situation
In THIS case it's dad's fault
For his fatherly resignation
Every case is different and should be observed
At the very least there might be another me out there to preserve
But here's a better notion
There's such a thing as being pro-choice, but not pro-abortion
