Jazer

Jazer (or Jaazer) was a city east of the Jordan River, in or near Gilead, inhabited by the Amorites. It was taken by a special expedition sent by Moses to conquer it towards the end of the Israelites' Exodus journey from Egypt. From the Septuagint (which reads Ἰαζήρ for עז in Numbers xxi. 24) it appears that Jazer was on the border of Ammon. As an important city it gave its name to the whole of the surrounding territory - a "Sea of Jazer" is mentioned in Jeremiah xlviii. 32.Jazer is stated to have been a fertile land fit for the raising of cattle and a place having many vineyards. It was occupied by the children of Gad, by which tribe it was allotted as a Levitical city to the Merarite Levites. In the time of David it seems to have been occupied by the Hebron… more »

Stressing is an understatement
I've been going crazy
All the stories, all the papers
Make my mind go hazy
I don't even know "novel" means, paired with viruses
Started in 2020 but calling it the '19s
Named it after a beer brand, yeah that's a novelty
Conspicuous conspiracies are crying in my eyes, see?

Lab coats, rat boasts
Feeling like a bad joke
Opinions are illegal and the media is credible I
Tune in, tune out
Radio is one sound

It is a pandemic at this point Let's talk about what that means
The criteria of a pandemic describes the worldwide spread of a new disease involving a

Twenty-twenty (All of it goes down the drain)
Time moves swiftly (Things are gone without a trace)
Tiny numbers (Multiplying faster every day)
COVID-19 (Feeling like the 20s)

Exponential cases going higher every single day and nothing's gonna stop it but a

Breaking news, is when a cracker wanna snooze
Same shit same day
With the cases goin' whoosh
Assume the worst, and homie that's what's given
I wanna see past, but I ain't got no vision
The reason I'm finding to continue is dimmin'
But I ain't got a choice but to keep on livin'
I might sit back but I ain't chillin'
Just praying for a change and it'll come god willin'
Guess everybody on Twitter got a medical degree
Judging vaccines based on WebMD
They failing to see the problem that be
Need an eye doctor, ophthalmology
Maybe open a book, but y'all too stubborn to read
Gotta pick and choose, elephant or donkey?
The powers at play, they controlling who we see
How come the leaders decide to divide my family?
But is it even their fault?
I suppose you could say
I would rather blame it on the last decade
2020 broke my dreams so I call it Green Day
But I still pull up the boulevard with some clean jays

You've got mail
Locked up in lockdown
Oh, you know, I've been bound
To similar scenarios that crawl up in my brain, I'm sayin'
Shocked and I'm blocked
From the outside talk
There's no need to be aggressive when there's nobody to instigate, I stop

Or maybe not
I'm thinking of the worst case
Never one to be based
Blueprint laid out
No need to shout
One, two, three, four
I'm prepared to stay more
Two weeks of spring break
Turned into summer aches
Missouri ain't that far so why am I so paranoid
Of the constantly confusing, confounding, COVID avoidances?
I'm trashin' this
I might get sick
It's not so worth the pain if I don't have to take it
So if I can get a break, oh
Will you come and be creative with those
