Delacroix

Ferdinand Victor Eugène Delacroix ( DEL-ə-krwah, -KRWAH, French: [øʒɛn dəlakʁwa]; 26 April 1798 – 13 August 1863) was a French Romantic artist regarded from the outset of his career as the leader of the French Romantic school. In contrast to the Neoclassical perfectionism of his chief rival Ingres, Delacroix took for his inspiration the art of Rubens and painters of the Venetian Renaissance, with an attendant emphasis on colour and movement rather than clarity of outline and carefully modelled form. Dramatic and romantic content characterized the central themes of his maturity, and led him not to the classical models of Greek and Roman art, but to travel in North Africa, in search of the exotic. Friend and spiritual heir to Théodore Géricault, Delacroix was a… more »

I took you to the land of Oz
And now I'll take you very very far
Gaze up at the moon
You'll see me jumping on the stars
Once I ascend beyond
It's over for you peons
High stepping through life like I'm Deion

Sand beneath my feet,
I hit the beach like every week
Of course the birds is gonna chirp
It's in they nature to tweet
Oooo this life is so sweet
Freed my mind so now I do as I please
While you peons just plead
"Please have mercy"
Ehhh I don't f*ck with remorse
And believe that you're not worthy
For that treatment of course
They said the realness back
I happen to be the source
Split your mind like a parents divorce
Keep the crows outta your corn
I'm the saboteur
Here to rain on your parade with relentless rage
Here to stay, making major waves
Turning doubles plays
Crowd cheering and waving
Rhymes sweet you should savor
Not saying I'm the savior
I'm the most improved player

I don't do no one favors
We all just tryna make it
But I bet on myself
I'll take every last wager
Cross la croix that's I'll advised
Face down in the water
But you ain't being baptized
This is blood from the Corleones pool
Mixed with love from a demented view
Not a shoe is too huge
I'll gladly put them on and tie em up too
It's always death before dishonor
As I swing the Katana
I slice through all the reminders
That say I'm chained to the past
And that feeling grows inside
I swear I feel the world mine
The mountains is high, I love to climb
I hate when people be crying
I don't f*ck with the whining
Most of all
I don't f*ck with the lying
When you see the silver lining
Rise towards it
The open door is meant to be yours
But you gotta find it
Anytime is divine timing
If I'm lying then I'm flying
But my feet on the ground
Stying there for a while

I'm not the talk of the town
I'm the talk all around
It was over for you clowns
Soon as I found my sound
I was bound to write like this
This destined written in the stars
The magi coming from afar
Just to hear me talk
On top of water I could never walk
You could find me in the pond
Grubbing on the biggest fish around
I do it gracefully now

I wish I could give you this feeling
It's a mix between finding my meaning
And revealing a secret
But I'm just scratching the ceiling
Like a fan when it's spinning
The wind it creates gon blow off
All of the hate
Until it aint no debate
I used to rap about hate
Before mfs pressed play
I'm here today to proclaim
I am here
And I am to stay
De la Croix, the artist with pain
I ain't gon say it again
