The last were paid first and given a full day's pay
When the workers who were hired first and worked all day
Received their pay, they were angry because the got the same amount
And were made equal with those who came last
The landowner replied, I did you not wrong you
I paid the agreed amount
Take what's yours and go
What's it to you if I'm generous and make the last equal to you
