I lost the people that I loved so much
One minute they were here then the next they were not
It was memories flashing by and there was no end at all
I had to grip tight and accept the feelings
The feelings that made it real it seems
It was scary but I had to come to terms with what I was seeing
All the people that used to be by my side were there no longer
That was the sad part, it was very unbearable
But it was normal and that was the part I had to accept

I walked up to the people that I loved

I had to harness my feelings
And remind myself

I wake up, they are gone
I was once with them, now they're gone
But instead of thinking about death
Why not think of all the memories
That we created and that lasted forever

It is very hard for me to admit
But why don't we patch up the memories
