But who is that child
And is there now a Was

But what do we know
If indeed there was a first
There must be something to show
Yeshua
Jesus of Nazareth
Did he really exist

There must be a trace
A time, a place
There's must be a strong way
To deliberate this case
So here's not what we think
But what we actually know
From what historians, political figures
And writers of the time wrote

Pliny, Trajan, Lucian, Justin, Tartarius
And even the Jewish Talmud
While unconnected and independent
All put together accounts
Of a Man Named Jesus
Called Christus
Who skeptics called a magician
And believers called Divine
But In this they all aligned
He was in fact
A performer of many great signs
Amassed
A great number of followers
Like no other figure
Of all recorded time
Commonly known as a good man
But convicted without crime
Beaten, Flogged, pierced and crucified
And died
Then placed in the tomb
Of a very wealthy guy
Only for 3 days later
To be found empty inside
But here's where it all collides
The fact that his body was missing
Was confirmed by all sides
While the governing authorities
Said it was falsified
By his followers
Who stole his body and lied
Hundreds began to claim
They've all seen him alive
But one thing was certain
The Tomb was indeed empty
And noted by all accounts
But even more interesting
His following didn't dry out
Instead it increased
Into incredible amounts
Even through severe persecution
And death
They spread news of his resurrection
With every dying breath
Beheaded, stoned or beaten
With nothing left
They pressed
And considered themselves blessed
To suffer only for his Name
And no accounts
Of personal, material, or monetary gain
For this man to not have existed
Simply cannot be explained
And all great scholars agree
Whether Jewish, skeptics
Atheist or believers of Christianity
Jesus Called Christ
Was a real historical figure
No questions on that
So lets not let it linger
But was he Moshiach
And Did he match the description
In prophecies
That were previously written
Isaiah 50 Six I gave My back to those who strike Me, And My cheeks to those who pluck out the beard; I did not Cover My face from humiliation and spitting
