I don't do no drugs to ease the Pain, I just had to embrace it
Where was y'all at through all Those tragedies that I was really Facing
God showed me I had I calling so I Knew I had to take it
All I fell was pressure on me but into a Diamond I was shaping

Memories of me and my dawgs in the field participating
Sometimes I just sit here and talk to God, wish heaven had visitation
I can't lie, sometimes I hope you send a message and I'm patient
I just ask you keep on guiding me while I be going through these phases

I be battling with dark thoughts to put a pistol in the faces
Cuhs In my city they really racists killed my dawgs and can't replace it
Lord I know that vengeance yours, sometimes I want to take it
Retaliation from all the hatred, grief and pain that's steady aching

Can you please remove this hatred, ain't trying do the work of Satan
I was locked down in that cell and I was facing allegations
Took that case for my brother that showed that I love em
Cause your loyalty get exposed when it's pressure that you under

Surviving death situations, watching for them shell cases
You can see them stale faces in the caskets it was pale faces
Only here by God grace, couldn't see it blind faith
Kept my faith in him and now look at it my time came

I stayed down through all my trials that I was up against
When I say I need general relief i ain't talking government
If I was down doing bad it was yo house that I'll run up in
Misfortunate moments made me change my ways that I was stuck up in

And at a time it was a revolver that I was thugging with
Fresh up out the field grandma questioning when I was coming in
Heart had some hatred, God showed me how to love again
Now I changed my life and it's him who I put my trust up in

Misguided as a youth by the examples that was shown,
Never did I fold I was taught to hold my own,l
Tomorrows never promised, that was something I was told
So appreciate me while I'm here because it's gone be a day when I'm gone
