A long cold winter in the weirdest year yet

The sad part these days is many dear friends are dead

Restrictions imprisoned me and I don't care for phone calls

I feel like this year though is gonna be better

Been so lost for so long but we grow and go  on

Lockdown, scarf oan, dare to walk to the park
I seen shops-names-change hands by the time I came-back
I must be about five hundred-years-old and a half
I miss the darts, miss the parties, miss the patter, miss the laugh
Did i beam down to planet earth today on a raft?
An invisible alien with empty shopping bags

Days drag by but decades flash past in a fingersnap
