I've been locked inside myself
Looking for some answers
To questions I'm too afraid to ask
Replay altered memories
Hoping that I'd fall in line
Chase rabbits down dark holes; it's making me blind

Self medicated destruction cause I'm stuck in this line of vision
I'm trying to escape but moments like this leave me further behind
Still trying to find

I was the one who came late to the crowd
But you saw who I was and you want me around
And you'll always be what's right
It's time to look forward now, not behind
There's no reason for madness; it's time to define
That you'll always be what I left

Now there's nothing left to give
Pouring all that I got
To self made deceptions that's stirring the pot
Can't ever repeat the past
Opportunities lost
Stop telling yourself that you were better off

Losing my grip on the surface and I'm falling back into nothing
I'm trying to escape but moments like this; they keep pulling me down
Why can't I get out

I was the one who came late to the crowd
But you saw who I was and you want me around
And you'll always be what's right
It's time to look forward now, not behind
There's no reason for madness; it's time to define
That you'll always be what I left

I was the one who came late to the crowd
But you saw who I was and you want me around
And you'll always be what's right
It's time to look forward now, not behind
There's no reason for madness; it's time to define
That you'll always be what I left
