I remember the day fate took a leap of faith
Was chillin' with my roommate and his girlfriend at our place
The phone rang, picked it up, my dad clearly in tears
The memory's seared in my brain as he confirmed my fears

She was taken shaken down by a random aneurysm

It was at the point where we'd given up on all of our prayers
They pulled the plug, she drifted into eternal slumber
