A Little Girl from the village isolated From all the cities that she will grow in In the sunset, she has found premonitions Of what the world would be like in 20 Years And she has found all solace Above the sky with the Pink and Blue lights The clouds were Orange As she reveled into her innocence It's like a distant dream Close enough to reach the highest towers In the Heart of a City Flying through the clouds While standing in a street All the memories come rushing all to me A Little Girl from the village isolated From all the cities that she will grow in In the sunset, she has found premonitions Of what the world would be like in 20 Years And she has found all solace Above the sky with the Pink and Blue lights The clouds were Orange As she reveled into her innocence The Little Girl was me I'm bursting through the seams A walking memory and I feel all the POWER Grew up in melodies Where the grass is greener Now that I'm older I can see it all I grew up in the violence of the world Knocking at the door and knocking at my body At the age of 2, I wondered "How am I alive?" I grew up feeling loveless and battered By the words and the punches Of strangers that live for the hatred I grew up being told that I'm "too much" or "I am not enough" for me to be wanted So, The Little Girl in me had to rise up to her dreams She would wake up screaming in the crack of DAWN To see the Solar Power of a new horizon To see the beginning at the edge of DAWN And now I'm 23 and I'm filled with wonders From the ray of the Sun to the call of Thunders I thank The Little Girl that's in my memories That she held on and stayed for the Pink sunrise It's like a distant dream High enough to reach the highest towers In the Heart of a City Flying through the clouds While standing in a street All the memories come rushing all to me The Little Girl was me I'm bursting through the seams A walking memory and I feel all the POWER Grew up in melodies Where the grass is greener Now that I'm older I can see it all All the hurt, all the pain I wore with every drop of tear Has come and go and now I'm moving on into the future Every lash of wounds from the battle scars that I endured From the war, I won, I move on from the traumas All the tears and fears I shed All the hate and violence I mend my soul that ached from The tremors of abuse that I lived through In the end, the Sun will rise And Time will heal the broken What's left will be Love as the DAWN Comes Rising from The Little Girl in me Everybody's so obsessed about being young Staying young, you know, like I mean it's cool that You wanna remain youthful in whatever you do But I'm not that kind of person that wants to remain In an, In an era of repetitiveness I wanted to, you know, I want- I want to explore the World I don't wanna be stuck in a cycle of endless predictability And I wanna move on and move towards the future And I don't mind growing old because growing old means I'm moving forward and I just want people to know that Just because you're growing old doesn't mean you can't be youthful That you can't be the best version of yourself, you still can be And what matters is you have yourself intact because this world has a Tendency to dissect and micro-manage whoever you are and whatever The soul is and I just hope that you the listener will live life FULLY Despite the pain of living it all, so yeah, think, I think it'd be cool
