Esther

Esther is described in the Book of Esther as a Jewish queen of the Persian king Ahasuerus. In the narrative, Ahasuerus seeks a new wife after his queen, Vashti, refuses to obey him, and Esther is chosen for her beauty. The king's chief advisor, Haman, is offended by Esther's cousin and guardian, Mordecai, and gets permission from the king to have all the Jews in the kingdom killed. Esther foils the plan, and wins permission from the king for the Jews to kill their enemies, and they do so. Her story is the traditional basis for Purim, which is celebrated on the date given in the story for when Haman's order was to go into effect, which is the same day that the Jews killed their enemies after the plan was reversed. more »

I don't know where I am
If you've told me what would happen
I'd never believe it
No matter how many time I play the scene in my head
No I'm not supposed to be here
I know something bad is coming
Throw me across the room
Use me like an object
While I am contemplating the moon
Watch me break in a million pieces
I wonder if I will ever be whole again
I tried to move on
I tried to forget
I almost convinced myself it was my fault to start with
17, intoxicated
I don't know where I am
If you've told me what would happen
I'd never believe it
No matter how many time I play the scene in my head
No I'm not supposed to be here
I know something bad is coming
I feel it in my skin
There is a fire burning, I wish it could disappear
But if my body really changes every 7 years
I means that the time is coming
I won't feel your fingerprints anymore
There is nothing to do
I got nowhere to hide
It just keeps on following me
Like a beast in the night
So used to being hurt
Not of the trusting kind
I've been promised asylum
How could I've been so blind
I don't know where I am
If you've told me what would happen
I'd never believe it
No matter how many time I play the scene in my head
No I'm not supposed to be here
I know something bad is coming
I feel it in my skin
There is a fire burning, I wish it could disappear
But if my body really changes every 7 years
I means that the time is coming
I won't feel your fingerprints anymore
Alone inside my brain
Your presence is gone forever
finally disappeared
It is because my body changes every 7 years
I know that the time done it's thing
I don't feel your fingerprints anymore
