The more stuff you have
The more problems you have
Mo money mo problems
Well I call that shit entitlement

Entitlement is no accident
It's our own damn fault we are so arrogant
Instant access has us inpatient
And constant stress makes us complacent
Entitlement is no accident
It's our own fuckin fault we're so ignorant
Cuz mismanagement will misrepresent
And our morals get spent on our discontent

So every six months they replace the equipment
And for the Earth that's not so efficient
But no one cares cuz we're all indifferent
So drunk on power we are all belligerent
And common sense has become absent
Cuz now on machines we are dependent
Cuz you don't want to work not one percent
I'm pretty sure that's why you hired your servants
And you're too busy to be benevolent
If it's not just for you then it's irrelevant
With money unspent you will never repent
When you could just pay off the government

Entitlement is no accident
It's our own damn fault we've become belligerent
With the money that's spent to attend an event
When there's millions out there who can't pay their rent
Entitlement one hundred percent
Is what causes our selfishness torment
And we're blinded by advertising's harassment
For material possession attachment

Everyone is selfish this is true
Go look in the mirror if you need a clue
Nah man I got more important things to do
Like go build a new fence so I can't see you
Or go pick a spot for a new swimming pool
So in the hot summer we can always stay cool
Or get the car washed third time this week
Cuz God forbid I leave a bird poop streak
I could never show my face at work again
If my appearance is not perfection
Don't you hate it when you're collagen injection
Goes wrong and it messes up your complexion
Or your baby does not want to follow direction
And he's breech so you will need a C-section
Well I had a little tummy that was so darn cute
But now I can never wear a two-piece suit
So you're losing your cool over a little skin scar
With no fuckin clue what real problems are
You should try to have that baby down on the dirt floor
Of a clay hut down in El Salvador
Or any other country that's been ravaged by war
With no doctor hospital or drug store
Try to have your baby on a dirt floor
With no doctor hospital or drug store

Entitlement is no accident
It's our own damn fault we're so arrogant
As we decline into devolving descent
But the rich will supposedly represent
Entitlement is not permanent
Though our brains are starting to pickle and ferment
So we kind of did consent to this arrangement
We're entitlement has caused us brain derangement

When will we open our eyes and realize
That there is no real winner that there is no fucking prize
That we're all daily sinners just living in disguise
And our selfishness will be our demise
And our family ties disappear without a trace
As we all become an internet interface
And then without haste through time and space
We just keep on fighting as if life was a race
Or a competition that is fear based
With the fear that your existence will be erased
And in the end it's the fear that will set the pace
As we all reach up our sleeve for that last hidden ace
But there is no first place second place third place
As if life was a race what a fuckin disgrace
We are all one race human being interface
Which one makes more sense to fight or to embrace

Entitlement is no accident
It's our own damn fault we're so arrogant
And God forbid that I ever consent
For you to make me accept my atonement

Wine and cheese and plasma TVs
And a viable vaccine for most all disease
And convertible Corvettes and Lear private jets
And a security details to neutralize threats
And unlimited buffets of caviar and canapes
Televised birthdays desert island getaways
Voice activated smartphone smart house
Like the robots are in charge of a human doll house
Where we all soon forget what it means to really live
We just take and take but God forbid we ever give
And our attitude is always argumentative
And for the greater good this is not productive
So the perspective that we need to see
Is that we are not the center of the galaxy
Not you not me not anybody
So stop seeing everything so selfishly

Entitlement is no accident
It's our own damn fault we're so arrogant
Instant access has us inpatient
And constant stress makes us complacent
Entitlement one hundred percent
Has caused us all mental derangement
And our selfishness does represent
How we all ended up in this predicament
