I'm a ticking time bomb waiting to explode
Writing my last words
So I can calmly blow
Writing my poetry on your arms
Hearing my voice on those scars

Letting the pieces fall through
Giving the part of me in you
I let the lights blind me
And lead me through

Wish I could take back all the hurtful words I said
But time won't keep the secrets in my head

My insecurities are eating me from the inside
(And the pain feels like a comforting lie )
Like a leaf in the wind my mind drifts around in waves
At the space in-between my eyes

My shadow is brighter than the body it clings into
A symbol for the dead to follow

My heart is a furnace, an inferno which burns with hate
My mind Is a battlefield, I struggle with the wars I create
We'll whisper of the end in my dreams
Tread lightly and carry on with your schemes

I try to bury all of these memories deep behind my mind
But sadly, the past and present are not the only things I hide

Let every breath that I take
be a testimony
