Blind shadows on the wall
The clothesline sags, the clothes won't dry
They're dripping wet outdoors
The thaw is just beginning
The anti-freeze is gone
The car's a statue monument

Tears fall from the eyelids of
Two shoes stepped round the back
Shed for melting hearts
The melting starts my heart attack
That feeling's in the air again
Who is it loves the sun?
When sometime there's no one left
For it to shine upon
You shout into the bedroom
"I think we're going to drown"
But I think we should keep it quiet
Till the meltdown
